Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for New York State Dental Foundation! Here are just a few of the ways they are pledging to deliver on their mission to improve oral health care for all New Yorkers in 2024:
- Coordinating free dental care for Veterans across the state all year long through our Salute Vets with a Smile program;
- Piloting the My Healthy Smile NY program to expand access to oral health care with Community Dental Health Coordinators (CDHC's);
- Underwriting Oral Cancer Awareness efforts to include screening events and promotion of the HPV vaccination; and
- Engaging dental students and residents with volunteer and mentorship opportunities through the Champions for Change program.
Every dollar donated to the #GivingToothday campaign on November 28, 2023 will help bolster these initiatives and provide crucial funding to propel New York State to the forefront of innovative and compassionate oral health care for the vulnerable and underserved.
